We know a thing or two…….
With over 40 years experience in the business, we’ve seen & heard it all from Philadelphia, PA (Philly), New Jersey (NJ ), Delaware (DE) to New York City (NYC).
A dozen tips to remember for the wannabe, potential, & aspiring Model/Actor:
- Find a “Good” full-service Agent/Agency that DOESN’T charge anything.
- LISTEN to ALL of your Booker’s complete instructions, as they know best.
- Set-up a PROFESSIONAL email & outgoing voice message & check them OFTEN.
- MAKE SURE your cell phone is CONSISTENTLY charged.
- Put your Agent’s # in your phone to identify their calls/texts & Be QUICK to respond/take action…The early bird gets the worm.
- ALWAYS have pen & paper conveniently @ your reach.
- Have a Model’s Bag FULLY packed w/ all sorts of incidentals. ( Your Agent will suggest what to put in it ) to ALWAYS have it on the ready & REMEMBER to take it w/ you on ALL Castings, Fittings & Bookings.
- BE SURE TO carry w/ you a Photo or Comp-Card & Resume @ ALL times as you never know whom you’ll run into.
- ALWAYS arrive to a Casting, Fitting or Booking 15 minutes early, NOT earlier.
- NEVER talk $ w/ either Clients or other Talent as rates may vary depending on resume experience, for this could cause problems & make you undesirable in the future. - Your Agent is on top of this.
- You MUST remain professional. Should you have a question, concern or issue, talk ONLY to your Agent, NEVER anyone else, as the set is no place for busy shop talk. That’s the Agent’s job behind the scenes.
- And parents…..remember NOT to be the sports parent - Just sit quietly on the sidelines.
